Meet the Teachers
Hannah McCarron
Principal
Hannah McCarron, Principal of Elite Academy of Dance, has been dancing since the age of 3 years old and trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Theatre Craft and more recently Acro and Musical Theatre.
She has taken numerous dance exams in a variety of genres and has a vast experience of performing on stage.
After falling in love with teaching Hannah decided to pursue this as a career. And after gaining her Level 4 Diploma in dance teaching with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) she began working as a ballet teacher at Elite Academy of Dance. Hannah took over as Principal of the school in January 2019.
Hannah is very passionate about teaching dance and hopes to pass on her knowledge and love of dance to all her students. She also hopes to give them a sense of achievement and pride in what they do and most importantly ensure they get maximum enjoyment out of each lesson.
Michelle Scott
Acrobatic Arts & Authentic Street Dance Instructor
Michelle is very passionate about performing and is eager to share her knowledge and experiences with the young dancers at Elite.
Acrobatic Arts Instructor, Michelle Scott, has been dancing since the age of 2 and has taken examinations with ISTD and IDTA in Ballet, Tap, street, Freestyle, Latin and Ballroom, Modern Theatre, Cheerleading and Acro. She also has a wealth of experience performing on many different stages and has taken part in a number of different productions.
Miss Michelle holds a level 4 diploma in authentic street dance, which is the only accredited street dance teaching qualification in the world.
Michelle is very passionate about performing and is eager to share her knowledge and experiences with the young dancers at Elite.
